What is traditional publishing?

This is the old way of publishing whereby we reach an agreement with you, the author, to publish your work under our copyright. Depending on the agreement, you will be paid an advance before the book is published, and earn royalties according to book sales.

In today's highly competitive market, this way of publishing presents a great risk to us as publisher. As such, we are highly selective in the work we choose to represent. It is unusual that we present authors without prior publications or decent pre-existing readership. We highly recommend that you present your work via an agent. But if you believe your book is good enough, please submit it to us.

Submission Process

Please submit a 1-2 page synopsis of your work and the first chapter or first 40 pages (Arial font 12), whatever is shorter. This applies to both fiction and nonfiction. We will be able to make a decision to see more or not proceed based on the synopsis and first chapter.

Once we receive your book, we will get back to you within 30 calendar days with a decision. If we decide to publish your book, we will provide you with details of the next steps. If not, we will suggest other roots like our enhanced self-publishing. If we are unable to publish your book the traditional way, please do not consider that a rejection. It simply means your work is too niche or too unique for us to be comfortable we can market it successfully. We have turned down books that became bestsellers. Yours could be one.
